Privacy Policy for My Day

1. Information you create in the app

My Day lets you create and manage personal planning information, including:

• Tasks, notes, due dates, reminders, priority, projects and completion status.
• Habit names, habit types, schedules, streaks and completion history.
• Events, birthdays, anniversaries, deadlines, categories, dates, notes and alert settings.
• App settings such as theme, time format, default alert time and notification preferences.

This information is used to provide the app's core features. Nil Apps does not require you to create a Nil Apps account to use My Day.

2. Local storage and iCloud sync

My Day stores planner data locally on your device. If iCloud sync is available and enabled for the app, your planner data may sync through Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services so it can be available across your devices signed in to the same Apple account.

iCloud storage and sync are provided by Apple. Apple processes iCloud data according to Apple's own privacy policy and iCloud terms.

3. Notifications and reminders

My Day uses local notifications to remind you about tasks, habits and events. Notification content may include the title or notes you enter so the reminder is useful when it appears on your device.

You can allow or deny notification permission in iOS. You can also adjust reminders, sounds and alert settings inside the app.

4. Backups, import and export

My Day may allow you to export a backup file and import planner data. Exported files are created for your personal use. You control where you save or share exported files. Anyone with access to an exported backup file may be able to read the data it contains, so keep backups private and secure.

When importing data, the app may merge imported items with existing planner data to help avoid accidental replacement.

5. Widgets

My Day widgets may display selected planner information on your device, such as upcoming tasks, events or progress. Widget data is shared locally between the app and widget extension using Apple's app group technology.

6. Advertising

My Day may display ads, including banner, native or interstitial ads, using Google AdMob. Google and its partners may collect or use certain information such as device identifiers, approximate location, ad interaction information, diagnostics and other data as described in Google's policies.

You can manage ad personalization through your device settings where available. If My Day offers a remove-ads in-app purchase and you buy it, ads should no longer be shown in the app after purchase validation.

7. In-app purchases

My Day may offer in-app purchases, such as removing ads. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Nil Apps does not receive your full payment card details. Purchase status may be stored locally so the app can unlock purchased features.

8. Support emails

If you contact Nil Apps for support, you may provide your email address, message content, screenshots or other information you choose to include. This information is used only to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues and improve the app.

9. Data collected automatically

My Day itself is designed around local planner data. However, third-party services used by the app or website may collect technical information. This can include:

• Ad-related data collected by Google AdMob.
• Purchase and subscription information processed by Apple.
• iCloud sync data handled by Apple when iCloud features are used.
• Basic server logs from website hosting, such as IP address, browser type, requested page and time of request.

10. Data sharing

Nil Apps does not sell your personal planner data. Data may be handled by service providers only as needed to operate app features, such as Apple for iCloud and in-app purchases, and Google for advertising.

Information may also be disclosed if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to investigate misuse of the app or website.

11. Children

My Day is a general productivity app and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Nil Apps through support or another channel, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

12. Your choices

• You can edit or delete tasks, habits, events and projects inside the app.
• You can disable notifications in iOS Settings or in app settings where available.
• You can disable iCloud for the app through iOS settings.
• You can delete the app to remove local app data from your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, some synced data may remain in iCloud unless removed there as well.

13. Security

My Day uses platform-provided storage, iCloud and system security features where available. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so you should protect your device, Apple account and exported backup files.

14. Changes to this policy

Nil Apps may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use of My Day after changes means you accept the updated policy.
